About Me — Saji Poriyath
I’m Saji Poriyath — a journalist, storyteller, and digital content creator with more than three decades of experience in Kerala’s media world. Over the years, I’ve worked with newspapers like Deepika, Mangalam, Keralabhooshanam, and the online portal Marunadanmalayalee, shaping stories, guiding editorial teams, and learning the pulse of everyday readers.
Today, I use that experience in a more personal and creative way. Through my platform Lokamalayalee, I blend journalism with stories, blogs, viewpoints, vlogs, podcasts, and humour — exploring the life, culture, and quirks of Malayalees everywhere.
For me, storytelling isn’t just reporting facts. It’s about feelings, memories, conversations, and the moments that connect us. Whether I’m analysing news, sharing a personal thought, or creating a light-hearted video, my goal is simple: to reach people with honesty, clarity, and a touch of the Malayalee spirit.
